VIHE is happy to announce our second Japa Retreat, from November 26th to December 1st, 2007. We will reside somewhere in the Varshana area, the birthplace of Lord Krishna’s consort, Srimati Radharani. We will visit, chant, and hold classes in nearby holy places, including Ucchagaon, Ter Kadamba, and Varshana. The main purpose of the retreat is to improve our chanting of the Hare Krishna Maha-mantra. We will try to chant 64 rounds of japa every second day.

The fees are $100 and $80 for two different standards of accommodation. If you’re up for a special treat, you may wish to stay longer and take our Govardhan Retreat as well, December 3–9, at a separate cost.
